Emergency Food Pantry

Many college students struggle with not having enough to eat. Feeling hungry can take your focus away from your studies and affect your ability to learn.

If you find yourself in this situation during COVID-19, these community resources are available to help: Food Bank Council of Michigan and Food Gatherers. We are sorry that the on-campus WCC-SRC Student Emergency Food Pantry is not operational during this time."

A caseworker will meet with you to learn about your needs and review your eligibility for other resources, such as:

  • Child care assistance
  • Assistance with tuition and other educational expenses like books
  • Bus tokens
  • Community food banks and free hot meals

Want to support the pantry? Currently, the SRC is not accepting food items and hygiene products due to it's closure during COVID-19. If you would like to make a monetary donation to the pantry instead, you may do so through the WCC Foundation web page, and indicate WCC - SRC Student Emergency Food Pantry as the recipient. We appreciate your support during this difficult time for WCC's students.
