Academic Guidance

Early planning is essential to ensure a smooth transition from high school to college. Even after you become a student at WCC, meeting with one of the Program Specialists on an ongoing basis is recommended. Staff are available to answer your questions both before and after you enroll. Referrals will be made regarding registration, admission, financial aid and specific programs.

One of the Program Specialists will assist in selecting a balanced load of classes as well as assist you in staying on track for your academic goals. Part of the importance of talking with a Program Specialist is to discuss and arrange needed accommodations each semester to meet your needs.

Your successful academic performance is important. If you have questions or are experiencing any problems it is recommended that you contact the office during the semester for assistance. It is also recommended that accommodation requests are made early in the semester.

Academic guidance is arranged by appointment at Learning Support Services.
